To make up for my lack to updates in the past urm month or so, i present you with this image heavy entry which too forever to complete. I was sooo distracted (lazy) to update. haha. BUT! after looking through my past entries i realised that it is quite funny to go back to the archives and read what went on then.I decided that i was going to begin this entry with the most exciting event from the past month. that was.. MY BIRTHDAY!! woots XD

It was not quite the same this year since i spent most of the day at work (oh wait, last yeat i spent most of my day at work too! just at ben & jerry's. haha)
The day before, i met up with nicholas and he surprised me with a biscuit tin full of goodies. It was like my survival kit. haha.
it was really sweet,once again thank you nicholas.
At work, my beauty editor was nice and she sent me for classy lunch at the marie france bodyline event. They were launching that andrea lady (think live the dreams? deal or no deal?) as their new spokesperson. APPARENTLY, she had weight problems. Anyhoo, lunch was great. I got to talk to the other beauty editors from the different magazines.
Back at the office, my colleagues surprised me with a fallen cake and meringue! haha. sweeeet.. although i don't like surprises.
BERENICE WONG! you still owe me my present okay. haha. i am waiting. She passed me a part of the present the day after and i ate it all up within an hour. Yup it was that good : D
At the end of that week, i found time to have dinner with aliciasoo, saweewee, simin and heidi.
We manage to catch with each other's lives, Heidi with her A-levels, Sawee with her 4.0 GPA, Simin with her i-refuse-to-remember-super-high GPA and aliciasoo with her tea selling days. It was a super satisfying dinner with smiles and laughter all around : )
urhhh what else, hmm.. no family dinner, that was depressing andd yar that sums up my birthday.
Overall it was quite good. Till next year : )
I have yet to buy my winning 4D ticket that will take me to see hilary duff live. Soon arh, soon.
MOVING ON.
browsing through my memory, the furthest thing back i remember iss... the arrival of my IPOD NANO! well, it was during my lousy 2 week study break for the exams, but who wants to remember that right. My brother went to the US and came back bearing gifts. When he told me to choose one of the Apple bags, i was thinking to myself. Aiya, one must be a pen the other a mouse pad and the last one probably a notebook la. So i chose the middle one and guess what was inside... something so red it totally matches my phone! woo-hoo man. So i thought wahh he is sooo nice and so sweet to his little sister, but then he wants me to pay him back now. Although he totally used my mom's credit card to pay for it. haha. I shall just treat is as a birthday gift from my mom since i gotten totally cheated of my birthday dinner.
Speaking of birthdays, Nicholas and I celebrated berenice's birthday early on NATIONAL DAY!

With plates of desserts and fireworks following that. Haha it was fun to rush to the various venues to catch the best glimpse of the fireworks. Even though it happened like more than month ago,with this really late mention of the celebration i do hope that you are reminded of the fun we had that day : D.

ABOUT WORK
Two days after my exams ended i began my month long internship at HARPERS BAZAAR, which about ends in 4 days time. It's fun, but i think it time for me to actually enjoy my holidays. After this week, it is just two more weeks before school starts all over again. sigh. New semester, new mods. Bye bye unlimited sleep, hello endless nights.
9am-6/7/8/9pm (really depends), 5 days a week, thats work for me. Working in a magazine is so not like what you see on ugly betty or the devil wears prada. where are the nice interiors of the office or sexy assistants of receptionists? haha. Nonetheless is still funn though. Really tiring, but fun : )
Photoshoots! Product Shoots! Credits! Model Prep! Thats pretty much what i do on a weekly basis. oh not forgeting the huge amounts of stuff that i return too. I am in town almost everyday and i blow huge amounts on cab fare, running from shoot to shoot, shop to shop and office to shoot. with sooo many things to do, a week at work flies by rather quickly. I can't believe that my internship is already coming to an end.
This was the cover shoot that took place just last wednesday.
It was super crazy with 4 shoots consecutively last week, even my fashion director was feeling the heat. The spreads managed to turn out well and i feel very accomplished XD

Urhhhh sometime during my exams Vania and family made a trip back to singapore. This time round, i didn't get to hang with her as much. Just two shopping trips and a couple of family dinner and she was on a plane back to the UK.
Her sisters hung around for a week more, so we managed to brunch together with my sister, lucas and my aunt.
I really hope that will get a chance to visit you guys in the UK soon. I WILL SAVE MONEY AND FLY THERE BY MYSELF IF I HAVE TO, thats if i suddenly decide that i don't need to buy anymore clothes and start saving money : D

Somehow the festival celebrations were opened to the public again. Maybe they realised that it was no fun without the crazy singaporeans *points at the pictures below. haha.

If you take a look at the picture on the right, you will notice that some guy is taking a photo of us. haha, we are that picture worthy okay.
So we got there pretty late, the main course was fully redeemed and we had to kope fans from people. I didn't even get a chance to win goldfishes or those water yo-yo things. arhh wasted. It was still fun, although i was perspiring like nobody's business.

My brother ordered that i pixelate his face cause he wants to be mysterious and wants to keep his identity anonymous. But the thing is he doesn't realise that i have sooo many other posts with pictures of him looking absolutely ridiculous.

Alright so these are the most exciting things that has happened in the past month.
Okay so i admit that i did not go to work today because i needed to select my IS modules.
But i somehow regret no going, mannnnnnn.. I have been soooo bored all day, i was supposed to go cut my hair but i couldn't get a appointment. So yar, i practically wasted my day sitting in front of this computer, typing out this long-ass entry.
I can't believe 4 weeks of my holidays have gone past and i have not completed a single season of any super sad emo dramas or created any dysfunctional Sim families. ARGHH what has happened to me!
You know what, even my body clock is seemingly normal again (don't get me wrong, its good thing).
I am now usually sleepy by 2am and i can wake up BY MYSELF by 10am. That means that i can walk out to macdonalds and they will still be serving breakfast! hahaha.
Just 3 weeks to go and school will start again, sigh. Can i please at least watch season of a super emo drama? or or, NIP/TUCK, gosh i love that sick show. i want season 4 please.
and please i need to go to a cinema and watch the movies that i have been saying i want to watch for the past god knows how many weeks.
IS HAIRSPRAY STILL ON? WHAT ABOUT HOME SONG STORIES?
i want to be entertained.
