Christmas'07Christmas celebrations came early this year and it was a well spent :D
oh besides being down with a flu for the past week or so. ah choo to you too.
This year was spent a lot with the family, party with the extended family at my sister's and dinner with my sister's family and my parents on the eve.
Been baking quite a bit recently, cookies with berenice, crumble for the party and cupcakes as gifts. yummyy. i love my somewhat new oven. although it still too small, at least the thermostat is in order.
it was quite a task baking with a flu. haha. everytime i felt a sneeze coming i had to run away from the kitchen to sneeze then come back, wash my hands then resume the mixing and scooping and blah. i tried my best to keep the baked goods germ-freee!
the cupcakes turned out better this time, especially the buttercream. in my previous cupcake attempt, the buttercream couldn't stand singapore's humidity so it gave out within minutes. but i got the recipe for libing and it turned out pretty fineee. haha.
i still have a batch of un-iced ones in the fridge waiting for their owners to claim them. about right now, i am soooo tempted to eat them. but you see in other to do that, i would have to take out my mixer and rewip the icing, then take out the piping bag and so on. so when i think about all the work that i have to do i suddenly don't feel like stuffing my face in buttercream anymore.
oh well. i hope everyone else had a good time this christmas.
school is starting soon again and everytime i close my eyes i see advert and feature jumping around in my head.
